Get Created date from Windows Explorer

I’m trying to figure out a way to extract the “created date” a document in a folder in Windows Explorer.

Is this possible and how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Kevin,

You can use keystrokes to iterate through the files in the folder (SPACE to select the first one and then DOWN), use ATL+ENTER to open file properties, and read the created date using OCR.

If you don’t know the number of files in the folder in advance, you can use Get Folder Contents action, save the result into a list variable, and then use For Each loop (for each item in the list) to repeat the steps above.
