How to ctrl + left click in the same time

Hi Everyone,
I would like to know how to make a left click while pressing the ctrl touch on my keyboard.
I tried to record the action but the pressing of the ctrl touch is not captured.

I also tried to use the On-Screen keyboard but it won’t click on the ctrl touch. The robot freeze.

Do you have a solution ?

Thank you

Try to add this action manually in recorder
(Enter Keystrokes) action

I’ve already try to do it manually and it does not work. Because it does not perform the two actions in the same time. It starts with the keystroke then with the click.

@GCE,

currently you cannot do this using RPA Recorder.

Please describe your use case and vote for this feature to raise its priority.

Description of the feature requested :

  • Use the ctrl touch and the left click to realize a multiple selection

For instance we have list, like the following one below :

With the combo ctrl + left click I want to select several items (Balance Sheet, Account Definition and Correlation Summary)

Here is the resultat :

Thank in advance

Hi Everyone,

I recently ran into this same problem, therefore since this post is from roughly 2 years ago, wondering if anyone knows if you can NOW perform this using RPA.

If so, how? :slight_smile:

Thanks!

Hi @lopez.mj now you can do it with the help of a simple custom action

@CustomScriptAction

def customScript() {
    keyboard().pressKey(Keys.CONTROL)
}

To release the key, just press it using the Enter Keystrokes action.

@ashapkina Exactly what I needed, it worked beautifully, thank you very much. I want to note if you plan on using it within a Loop, you actually must place the Script before the Loop.
