International characters handling

Hi,

I am loading an excel file containing danish characters into a table and those characters are not treated correctly.
For example, character ‘å’ is translated into two weird characters.

How can I fix this issue?

Kind regards,
Dimitrios

Hi Dimitrios,
Thank you for reporting this, we’ll fix this for future releases.
As I understand, this letters are displayed weirdly only in the recorder variables. If you copy the values back to excel or other applications they are displayed correctly, so the actions with them should work fine. Please let me know if you have any issues with it.

Hi,

Sorry for the late response, I was away the whole previous week.
I tried to use danish characters in an IF action and it worked, so it seems that the weird translation only happens in the execution log file.

Kind regards,
Dimitrios

Hi Dimitrios,

Great!
We will work on fixing the issue with the characters display in the log file.
