Java(tm) platform se binary has stopped working while playing a recording

I get this error message when I try to run my recording. It worked fine a couple of days back, where I ran the recording and stopped in between as I didn’t have enough time to let the bot complete the task.
I tried to re-run it a couple of days later and I get this error. Can you please help?

Execution stops at step 5 - where I have a mouse click operation. This is the error log.

Hi @sshyamasunder,

Could you please clarify if you use any mouse clicks on a desktop icons in your script?
Also please clarify your RPA Express version, please.

Hi @iostapuk, Thanks…

I’m using mouse click on an Application GUI, using the Window.
Here’s the version of RPA express I have on my system.

Dear @sshyamasunder,
We have a bug in which after clicking on the specific shortcut on the desktop, Java exception is showing and bot disconnects. Our development team is already aware of this situation and it’s planned to be fixed in one of our future releases.

I can recommend you to click shortcuts from folders, then it should work fine.

@iostapuk
In this case, i’m not launching an application using a shortcut on the desktop.

I’ve an application launched and logged in to already. I’m using the window option, to identify this application and trying to perform mouse clicks. This worked perfectly a few days back.
Can you please suggest a workaround?

Dear @sshyamasunder
Could you please clarify if you used any clicks on desktop before? Or the issue occurred with this script first and never occurred before?

@iostapuk

I’ve not used any click on desktop before. This occurred with this script first…

@sshyamasunder, could you please clarify your RPA Express version?
You can check RPA Express version via Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features , see the example below.

Hi @sshyamasunder do you still have this issue? If you do - please provide the details @iostapuk asked.
Thank you.

@iostapuk - I’ve already share the version details in the first response to this thread. It’s 2.2.3.1153.

It works when i try to change the mouse click action from window control to image. But it’s very unstable. After a few iterations mouse click action fails on image. Then i need to change it back to window control. And it works again. Strange!

hi @sshyamasunder,
Could you try to reinstall Java as described here - Can't run any recording: Java SE stops and 0 bots running after that
And let me know if it helps.

I have version 2.2.0 installed and facing same java issue on mouse click. I tried reinstalling java and workfusion both but still issue persist.
Please help.
