Running Business process Error

The bot encounters the given error -

Step name ‘MOHBOT’ has failed. Reason: '[urn:uuid:8AAC687823426CF6E6154054543450119] robotics-flow executePlugin exception: [nodeId=http://127.0.0.1:15410] com.workfusion.studio.rpa.recorder.playback.PlaybackException: Error executing TemplateAction[templateName=CustomScriptAction.ftl,id=128,name=Optional[CustomScriptAction],parent=113,nextSibling=129,arguments=ActionArguments[delay=[0],xsi:type=[recorder:CustomScriptAction, recorder:CustomScriptAction],name=[remove space - identity no.],active=[true],actionDetails=[(remove space - identity no.)],script=[@CustomScriptAction(

input = [‘identity_no’],
output = ‘identity_no’
)

def customScript() {

identity_no = identity_no.replaceAll(" “,”");

}]]]’

@shanda please export the Events log to Excel to share here to see the whole text.

In this case there is a different error the bot cannot find the Xpath you provided on the page:

Caused by: org.openqa.selenium.NoSuchElementException: no such element: Unable to locate element: {"method":"xpath","selector":"//*[@id="d122ca85-d9b4-a1ab-eb7e-59d140da21a5_05213ab1-9522-10a1-180c-6118575e6583"]"}

Make sure that the element with such xpath - //*[@id=“d122ca85-d9b4-a1ab-eb7e-59d140da21a5_05213ab1-9522-10a1-180c-6118575e6583”] - exists on the target web page.

In the first, there is a problem with the Custom Action. It worked on my side, but I had to change the quotation marks, so make sure they are correct in the script.

@CustomScriptAction(

input = ['identity_no'],
output = 'identity_no'
)

def customScript() {

identity_no = identity_no.replaceAll(" ","");

}

it’s working fine in workfusion
but not working in control tower

@shanda are you referring to the Custom script? Or the whole recording?

custom script and xpaths
every thing is working fine in workfusion

but its giving error in control tower

Maybe, the web page doesn’t have time to load so the bot cannot find the xpath. Try adding timeouts to mouse click and web element actions.

Can you share the URL of the page on which the bot has to find the xpath?

Hi @shanda do you still have this issue with the business process?
