Set Range Action with $ containg string data throwing error in RPA Recorder

I am following below steps:

  1. Open Spreadsheet (Source Excel file path)

  2. Switch To Sheet ()

  3. Get Range (‘A1:END’ to source_data [table type variable])

  4. Open Spreadsheet (Target Excel file path)

  5. Switch To Sheet

  6. Set Range (source_data to ‘A1:END’)

For your information, in my Source Excel file one of the cell (C3) had a string value like ‘Achieved sales target of $ 100’. so I escaped ‘$’ with ‘$’. So updated cell value becomes ‘Achieved sales target of $ 100’ But still I am getting below error from step 6 (Set Range step) in RPA recorder.
Error Details:
Caused by: org.openqa.selenium.WebDriverException: startup failed:
Script1.groovy: 5: illegal string body character after dollar sign;
_ solution: either escape a literal dollar sign “$5” or bracket the value expression “${5}” @ line 5, column 33._

Interestingly, below steps are working properly

  1. Open Spreadsheet (Source Excel file path)

  2. Switch To Sheet ()

  3. Get cell value (C3) and stored in “c3_cell_value” string type variable

  4. Open Spreadsheet (Target Excel file path)

  5. Switch To Sheet

  6. Set cell value (C3) from “c3_cell_value” variable

For your information I am using RPA Recorder 1.1.9-beta version

Hi Sagneek, you need to update RPA Express - we have fixed this bug in later versions.
