I am trying to automate some application checks using RPA express. Checks are onvolving multiple options listed below:

  • Check file last update date.
  • Read file contents.
  • Check services on remote machine (service running or stopped)
  • Checking some parameters in database (perticular column value for a specific record)
  • FTP conection to server to check file counts.
  • Citrix most importantly. Is there wasy to handle citrix connection and applicaion?

If there are solutions available for thes problem can you please point me to those solutions? My access to training site and still

@Suyog_Doshi_IBM

These are great features to be added. I have broken them down to tickets and our release plans

• Check file last update date
• Read file contents
• FTP conection to server to check file counts
Tracking number WFS-533 - can be expected soon. Potentially in May.

• Check services on remote machine (service running or stopped)
Need more details from you here. How do you actually expect this to be functioning? Powershell?

• Checking some parameters in database (perticular column value for a specific record)
Same as above

• Citrix most importantly. Is there an easy to handle Citrix connection and applicaion?
Please elaborate a bit. Can do in private message if you prefer to.

Hello Makhail,

Thanks for quick response. It will really make RPA simple with addition of these basic options in RPA Express.

Below are details about other points.

Hi,

Is WFS-533 released??
Because I have a similar requirement to be done.
To trigger a BP based on file availability in FTP server.

Thanks!

Dear Team,

I need to update the database after reading and validating records from Excel sheet.

Please do let me know if this is possible.

Thanks,
